Hollywood Footprint Celebration for Kobe....Bah Humbug!

The dust from the highly anticipated NBA All Star weekend has started to settle. If you ask some in La La Land, it was a Kobe weekend. After Friday's Rookies vs. the Sophomores game, Saturday gave way to Kobe and his magnificent ego. Kobe became the first EVER athlete to get his footprints amongst the many Hollywood legends. Kobe? Kobe? What about all the other sports legends in history? That's like lining up every sports legend in history and slapping them 3 Stooges style. That includes Magic Johnson, Kareem Abdul-Jabar, Michael Jordan, the greatest-Muhammad Ali, Tiger Woods, Joe Louis, Larry bird, and the list goes on. The only footprints Kobe deserves are maybe on his backside for even asking.
Then on Saturday, the Kobe ego continued with Kobe being "Give me the ball" Kobe. Kobe went on to grab the top scorer's spot, along with the MVP award and with just one assist. One assist, what does that tell you? Maybe somebody didn't like sharing his toys when he was a kid. Labron James wasn't too far away in points, but manage to record a rare triple double in an All Star game. Come on, Kobe doesn't deserve to have his footprints anywhere, except the welcome mat at the front door of his house......maybe.
